Victoria Falls Black Rhino Conservation Project
The Victoria Falls Black Rhino Conservation Project’s aim is to protect and preserve a black rhino population in their natural habitat. This includes monitoring and improving the population, relocating and populating local conservation areas, and inclusively educating local communities to stabilise and maintain community-wilderness buffer zones. We also collaborate with ecotourism and voluntourism organisations to create awareness, raise funds and collaborate resources.
NEEDS: We need to raise US$ 8,500 (ZAR 150,000) as a matter of urgency to fortify the walls, erect electric fencing, and refurbish the boma to keep our rhinos safe.
