The More Community Foundation Golf Day 2023
The day starts with a scrumptious cup of coffee, compliments of Bean There Coffee Company.
Score cards are collected, and – voila – A gift bag! A Puma quality golf shirt and cap; a keyring courtesy of Silverlakes Hotel; water; Tailormade golf balls; Getaway Magazine; and Aquelle Sports drink.
Looking nifty in navy, golfers then commandeer their golf carts (complimentary), and make their way to the first tee. By now the energy is electric, and it’s pretty clear that the day will be nothing short of exceptional on Randpark Ridge’s prestigious Firethorn Course.
Sponsors keep the spirit alive between holes, and generously entertain, and dish out refreshments, creative activations and plenty of opportunities to WIN BIG!
It’s a hearty welcome back to the clubhouse, with a well-earned and much anticipated Stella Artois draft.
Our MC for the evening is magnetic – THANK YOU Mike Usendorff – and we are held spellbound when AB de Villiers, and our own Vanessa Masetloa speak.
What a vibe! as Mike manoeuvres his way through the program, dishing out prizes and auctioning decadent treats like Santa at Christmas!
Our Trustee, Maria Moate, speaks words of heartfelt gratitude for us all before we all tuck into a scrumptious roast dinner by Randpark Golf Course’s legendary chefs. BIG appetites have been worked up at this point, and we are not disappointed…
