More Community Foundation continues participating in workshops as a key contributor to the process. This strategy aligns with the NPO Forum meetings, held twice a year, where physical gatherings allow for sharing reports, discussing collaborations, exchanging information and addressing common challenges within schools and communities.
Through this partnership, we identify young people from our surrounding communities who are passionate about nature and eager to learn how to preserve it. Candidates are given the opportunity to study at MORE Field Guide College, where they receive professional training in guiding, conservation and environmental awareness.
Empowers Africa is an established US public charity specialising in supporting African organisations. Since 2013, they have granted over $12 million to more than 60 organisations across 15 African countries. Through fiscal sponsorship, they process donations so we can focus on our ground-level work.
American residents can donate through Empowers Africa with confidence that all contributions are tax-deductible under Section 501(c)(3). Any donations made are granted directly to More Community Foundation, and Empowers Africa handles all administrative requirements and proper tax documentation.
Pack for a Purpose is a global initiative that connects travellers with meaningful opportunities to support local communities. This innovative programme encourages visitors to use spare luggage space to bring much-needed educational supplies for school projects, turning ordinary trips into extraordinary acts of giving.

Vomba Tours & Safaris is a family-owned boutique tour company founded by Khimbini Hlongwane, a veteran wildlife guide who transformed his 23 years of guiding experience into a business that empowers his community.
Through our partnership, Vomba Tours operates the Lion Sands Community Guest Experience, facilitating weekly visits to Jabez and Henna Preschools. Guests serve meals, create classroom tools, work in gardens, and lead sports activities – experiencing firsthand the impact of community development. Khimbini’s commitment to excellence and his community shines through every tour, creating meaningful connections between international travellers and local children.
The Italtile Foundation sponsors the MORE Field Guide College, in partnership with More Community Foundation, by supporting the selection of young people from vulnerable backgrounds to receive training and development opportunities.
