Masuwe Secondary – Build & Develop a New School
There is currently no secondary school in the vicinity. This means that when learners complete their primary education, very few have the means to attend secondary schools in other villages as transport and accommodation are major problems. Most learners, therefore, drop out of school or repeat grade 7. It is for this reason that MCF plans to build a secondary school that will serve the education needs of the children from Woodlands and the neighboring community. This will give them hope and the chance of a better future.
To build and develop a secondary school, we have to have certain facilities in place at the primary school. The most important is the building of three new classrooms, which we are in the process of fundraising for. We have upgraded the ablution facilities and also built teachers’ accommodations. Once the new classrooms have been built we will have the foundation to request permission to build and develop a secondary school.
