Heuningvley Primary School – Near Marataba Safari Lodge
In partnership with: Marataba and Marataba Community & Conservation Foundation, Limpopo
The school enrols approximately 300 learners every year from grade 1 to grade 7, supporting children from the neighbouring reserves, villages and farms. Situated in a very remote farm, the school struggles with no water and no electricity. Our strategy is to strengthen the partnership between Marakele National Park representatives, the Marataba Community & Conservation Foundation (MCCF), and the school. The school development plan includes installing water equipment, building a new ablution/ sanitation block, adding a sign board, and building a new kitchen.
NEEDS: Water, electricity, building a new ablution/ sanitation block, building a new kitchen and canteen for the learners to eat
