Motshabaesi Primary School – Obakeng Village

Motshabaesi is a Primary School situated in Obakeng Village, enrolling approximately 250 learners annually.

NEEDS: Building a new ablution/ sanitation block

PROGRESS: We partnered with Specs Savers SA (@specsaverssa) to implement an incredible initiative with a profound impact. The Specs Savers optometrist attended to visually impaired learners of Motshabaesi Primary School to assist with treatment. Every learner in need of spectacles was given a pair FOR FREE!

We installed a vegetable garden at Motshabaesi Primary School (Madikwe region) with the goal to support the schools’ meal programmes, as well as to provide them with a means of generating additional income through the sale of vegetables to the community.
