Thandeka’s Sewing Enterprise

Tshemba (Shangaan for ‘hope’) gives unemployed members in the community the chance to upskill and create their own source of income. One such project is beautiful beeswax wraps produced by Thandeka Khoza, of such a beautiful quality that they are now being sold in all MORE Family Collection lodges and hotels. The wraps keep perishable products fresher for longer, and are made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton, beeswax and tree resin. They are also washable, reusable and compostable. Thandeka also sews animal toys, which she sells from her project through More Community Foundation.
