Injongo Educare Center

Injongo Educare Centre enrols up to 146 children from the Mfuleni area in Cape Town, with 80 children from neighbouring schools in the after-school care program. The school is situated on a very small block of land out of shipping containers and is in desperate need of more space, a commodity in urban townships.

NEEDS: Vegetable garden, fencing, inside and outside painting, school supplies, support for the school’s canteen to ensure sustainable income.

PROGRESS: On Tuesday 19 October 2022 the Injongo Educare Centre unveiled its brand new ablution block! Beyond the improved comfort and sanitation for the children, the school now qualifies for much-needed governmental support.
